prasanth Posted July 9, 2005 Report Share Posted July 9, 2005 Hello Sir, The windows 2000 operating system is restarting automatically without showing the logging window,but the computer applications,loading the personal settings & evrything is done & after all it restarts without showing the logging window.The system was working perfectly & this problem is occuring for the past 15 days. This happens for 4 to 5 times & then the computer shows the login screen with normal mode.After successful login,if a logout is attempted the restarts again.Is it accomplished with the Software problem or with the Hardware problem.But iam sure that the windows 2000 is not corrupted. I have attached a snap shot from the event viewer for your reference. A brief about the system configuration. P4 2.8 GHZ. 512 DDR RAM. 80 GB SATA HDD. Dual Boot;LINUX & 2000.
