wikoh
Some Qs1.Is it possible to make Windows XP (Home, in my case) built-in search find ALL files, including system DLLs and the like (it doesn't on my computer)?2.Can Copernic Desktop search be made to index all files? It's possible to add *.* as "File name only", but when picking the search mode for a folder only Documents, Pictures, etc are available. It's not possible to add *.* as Documents. Also, does adding C:\ or C:\Windows mean subfolders will be indexed too?
Scarecrow Man
1. Yes. With Windows search, you can specify:name, phrase in the file, location, modification date, size, file types, as well as whether or not to look in system folders, hidden folders, and sub folders and tape backups.2. I have no idea. I do not use Copernic, because Windows search does everything I need it to.
