Tony
Hi allI made a image of my c:drive in April, 10 days after a new install of XP and all drivers and updates.Well now the time has come for me to go back to that image, as i am having some little problems with my system. Now the problem is when True Image restarts the computer to install the boot software it say's (on a Arconis Screen) "Loading Boot Software Please wait" and that is it, it just sits there doing nothing, i even left it over night last night. This is the first time i have treid to install a image with it since i have had it March/April time.I problem is there when i do it from with in true image when the system is running or using the boot cd i made in the beginning. So has any body any ideasThanksTony
-pops-
??? Odd!!!Have you tried doing it from a cold boot? i.e. put the boot disk or original Acronis CD in the drive, shutdown and turn off at the mains, leave for a few minutes and then switch on and re-boot. wuggy23
Download the latest build (Build 937) from Acronis website, uninstall your current version and install latest. Create boot CD using this build, Boot from it and it should then allow you to restore your image. As far as I know latest build contains uodated USB and SATA drivers.
