Guest Damo Posted May 15, 2003 Report Share Posted May 15, 2003 I'm pretty certain it's a server which just has Windows forum traffic on it and no one elses, which in theory should speed up the site and make data transfers quicker and easier.It's not often im right and im probably not this time aswell!! Craig Posted May 15, 2003 Report Share Posted May 15, 2003 Damo is almost right.We still share a server with others, but we now get priority over them, for example if 1000 people clicked on this site, and 1000 people clicked on another, the data transfer would be spread equally between the two sites, this would make the site a little slow to respond.However if the same happens now, this site wont be affected and more strain will be placed on the other site! Guest Nellie2 Posted June 6, 2003 Report Share Posted June 6, 2003 Well I can't speak for any others but I led a seminar about 2 months ago and I managed to sound intelligent for a whole two hour presentation and I also managed to field quite a few difficult questions from the floor so getting my bosses out of the you know what!!!!!
