I can't get into my IE options

Hi

I just tried to goto my Internet Explore 6 Options on my XP home machine, and i got theis message

I was last in them i guess a couple of weeks ago, and as far as i know i have not installed anything that would cause this to happen.

I am logged into my pc as my user name with full admin rights.

same as i have all ways been.

Has anybody got any ideas on this.

There is no real reason for me to get into them at the moment, i was just going to have a look.

AVG virus scanner is upto date and does a scan every morning, The Cleaner is upto date and i do a scan every week, all is clear.

I had that problem but I got around it by going into internet options in control panel.........don't know what caused it though and it stopped just as mysteriously as it started!!!!

can you look in the event viewer to see if it says anything there.

Ok i can get to them via the control panel, as Nellie2 suggested, but not from IE.

The Event viewer does not show to much apart from some true vector errors (zone alarm) a while back, but does not show many more problems (well as far as i can tell anyway)

I have just done a full scan with Spy Bot Search & Distroy & Adaware 6 and it is still the same :(

All sorted now :)

It was

SPYBOT Search & Distroy, there is a option there on the Immunize page that blocks access to the options from with in IE.

So i just turned the option off :)
