doug
Is it me in that I am having trouble visiting that site since I upgraded to BB in the last few days. Often when I click on the site, I can get the first page to open but anything else and my system locks up, Win 98SE PlusNet 500 ADSL IE6 SP!. I can sometimes recover by doing the 3 finger salute and ending the PCA link but at other times I have to do a hard switch off. Of course on re=boot the dreaded scandisk comes into play etc. :o

TERBOW
Q. Browsing the web is getting progressivly slower and slower. Is there anything I can do to fix this? A. A big factor in speed is internet traffic, especially if you are accessing a popular page. Try going to the same pages at a different time. If that doesn't help, check the following:Clear your browser disk cache (temporary files) If you use Internet Explorer 3.0 click on "View" select "Options" then click the "Advanced" tab. Click the "Settings" button then the "Empty Folder" button. In Netscape 3.0, click on "Options" then "Network Preferences" and select the "Cache" tab. Click "Clear Memory Cache Now" and "Clear Disk Cache Now" It may take a minute or two for the files to be cleared so be patient. If you use Internet Explorer 4.0, you can clear the cache by going to "View" then "Internet Options" and the "General" tab. Click the button labeled "Delete Files". Users of Netscape 4.0 (Communicator) can clear their cache by clicking "Edit" then "Preferences". Double click the item on the left labeled "Advanced" then select "Cache" Click "Clear Memory Cache Now" and "Clear Disk Cache Now"Find out if there are routing problems on the internet. Windows95 users have a utility that allow them to "trace" an internet address. It basically tells you how you are routed to a particular address. Click on "Start" select "Run" and type "tracert [address you are trying to reach]" e.g., tracert www.excite.com A black window will appear and you'll see numbers and internet addresses. If you see any *(asterisk) symbols, this indicates there are some routing problems. Unfortunately there's nothing you can do about it except wait it out.
