lester1
Just finished a system restore and have found that some programs will not start as normal. If I try the normal method I get the message This action is only valid for products that are currently installed.Exploring my drive and selecting the program I can get it to run. Any ideas
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Can you right-click on the items that do not start correctly, then select Properties? This should give you a clue where it is pointing to.
-pops-
In addition to what Pat says, what was the reason for your System Restore, had something gone wrong? If yes, can you undo the restore? Even if no, it may be possible to find another way of rectifying the original problem.

Properties shows the folling "C:\Program Files\Jasc Software Inc\Paint Shop Pro 7\"In addition to what Pat says, what was the reason for your System Restore, had something gone wrong? In the end I ended up having to re-install most of the problem programs.Sorry about the delay in replying but I have been constsantly getting unable to display messags when trying to get on the forum.
