deuces wild
So I got my son the Ipod 30gb he wanted for Christmas. Now comes a question about FM transmission as there are 3 options for him to be able to play it through his FM radio in the car: XtremeMac AirPlay2: http://store.yahoo.com/semsons-inc/xtaifmtrfora.html Monster iCarPlay FM Transmitter: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0006BKH3...glance&n=172282 Itrip : http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/itrip/ Being able to charge the unit in the car is a plus. Any suggestions? TIA!
deuces wild
After a bit more research I made my decision today and purchased the XtremeMac AirPlay2. The accessory is not available till the end of the month but offers some nice options: 1. It can be used with or without a 12v recharge cable. 2. It can be used anywhere an FM stereo is available, not only in his car. 3. Battery life on the new Ipod while in the car is not a problem as his trips are usually less than 3 hours tops. The Monster iCarPlay FM Transmitter can only be used in the car. The Itrip is not compatible with the new Ipods. I can let you know about the performance of this attachment after Christmas if you are possibly looking at buying it.

deuces wild
Will do. BTW: The other problem with the Monster iCarPlay FM Transmitter, although cheaper (if purchased on Ebay) is that it is not wireless. Why bother with plug in cables if you don't need to?
