pwp Posted January 7, 2006 Report Share Posted January 7, 2006 hi i removed spare maxtor 120 gig hard drive from a comp i havegiven away it had windows loaded and several user profiles.my profile was password protected and although i removed the password before i removed it it will not allow me access.it is fitted in an external usb enclosure at the momment, so i can't try the front door so to speak. it does have some stuff i would like to recover, i left it on as i thought it would not be a problem. any ideas??
