jonfleck
Hi, I've got a Sandisk cruser micro 1GB usb drive (Click Here), and have downloaded the following driver - Sandisk Driver. The Os is Win98. When I insert the usb key into the socket, the "Building Hardware database" dialogue appears for a few seconds, and then the Blue Screen of Death appears. Any ideas on why it may be doing this?
Boris
As far as I am aware you will need a minimum of Windows 98SE for this driver to work ?The Software Patch page does call it Cruzer_Family_98SE.zip

Could it be that a 1GB memory stick is too big for win98SE to handle?Regards,Jonathan
Scarecrow Man
Windows 98SE can handle the FAT32 file system which supports 4GB files. I've used my Sandisk Cruzer on many machines with no problems.http://www.sandisk.com/Assets/File/Downloa...ly/cruzer98.exe - Driverhttps://www.customernation.com/pls/ps/ps.ps...ory=&p_product= - FAQ

I plug in the USB drive and after starting to build the driver information database and trying to install the key, I still get the BSOD!
