Application pop out?

This message keep poping out in my window screen:

Application popup: Messenger Service : Message from SYSTEM to ALERT on 13/02/2006 9:08:22 pm

I check out the event viewer and the detail is as follow:

Time: 9:11:35 PM Category: None

Type: Information Event ID: 26

I just reformat my windows xp into windows xp proffesional service pack 1 and this message keep poping out every half our or so. I have checked for spyware using search and destroy program, and it seems there is none.

Is it possible to block or disable application pop out allert?

Is this message on a grey background?

If so, disable by:

1. Click Start->Settings ->Control Panel

2. Click Administrative Tools

3. Click Services

4. Double click Services

5. Scroll down and highlight "Messenger"

6. Right-click the highlighted line and choose Properties.

7. Click the STOP button.

8. Select Disable or Manual in the Startup Type scroll bar

9. Click OK

Ensure you install SP2 as well.
