Please go to http://www.regfixes.com to scan and repair the system registry.For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/event.asp.I check out the event viewer and the detail is as follow:Date: 13/02/2006 Source: Application PopupTime: 9:11:35 PM Category: None Type: Information Event ID: 26I just reformat my windows xp into windows xp proffesional service pack 1 and this message keep poping out every half our or so. I have checked for spyware using search and destroy program, and it seems there is none.Is it possible to block or disable application pop out allert? -pops- Posted February 13, 2006 Report Share Posted February 13, 2006 Is this message on a grey background?If so, disable by: 1. Click Start->Settings ->Control Panel 2. Click Administrative Tools 3. Click Services 4. Double click Services 5. Scroll down and highlight "Messenger" 6. Right-click the highlighted line and choose Properties. 7. Click the STOP button. 8.
