leroytrolley Posted February 15, 2006 Report Share Posted February 15, 2006 HiI've just bought a laptop and wireless router and I have my laptop and main pc running on a network. All was running smoothly with no problems untill about 10 mins ago. I went to open "my shared folders" and I get the DEP dialogue box appear and closes the window. I read the help files about how to turn off the DEP. It says to goto control panel, maintenance ans turn it off through there, BUT I cant open the control panel because the DEP closes it as soon as it opens.
