Discusman Posted February 24, 2006 Report Share Posted February 24, 2006 I have several computers at home and only one computer has the internet access when I using a switch.I have a 8 ports Zonet switch connected to the cable modem box. You cannot route with a home switch (some business class switches can route, but it would be most unusual and expensive for a home [edit]switch). You'll probably want to get a router. I learn something new today..Man I am having problem with my router. that's why I figure I may solve the problem by using a switch. I guess I have to solve this router issue.
