.JPEG ICONS

Yup change the application you use to open Jpegs!

Think if you right click on one whilst holding down the right shift key you can then select open with and then change the association that way. There is another way of doing it but my brain has been killed by the sun!

Try a system restore...

OR... Control Panel > Folder Options > File types, find JPEG and click Advanced and see what picture you have set for JPEGS and Chage it back.

If not madboy post back and we'll take a look at the EDIT function.

found it the work around is this

as you say go to Control Panel > Folder Options > File types

now click on the JPG/JPEG image file, select advanced, then select change icon and then add the line shimgvw.dll

this will restore the .jpg icon
