Kyle
Just recently a new network connection icon called Internet Connection has appeared under Internet Gateway in the Windows XP network connections page. It was never there before, and the only reason that it converns me, is because it is constantly transmitting and receiving data to and from the router. This has only happened on 3 of my 5 computers, and on the three that the Internet Connection icon is there, the little computer down in the notification area is always lit up like it is transferring data to and from the router. BTW all my computers connect wirelessly to the router.Anyone know what causes this?Kyle
Scarecrow Man
If you are using DSL, the "Internet Gateway" is your connection to your ISP. In other words, the physical connection between the router and the ISP. It just shows up on your computer to show you it is connected.
