Dan12 Posted February 28, 2006 Report Share Posted February 28, 2006 Hi, Have an older pc my son gave to me that has windows 98se on, and sound was working ok.Because there was that much junk on there i decided i would reinstall windows, I have the origanal discs thatcame with the pc and drivers also.Reformatted and did the install ok, loaded the drivers from origanal disc ok but have no sound have been into control panel and checked sound is not muted or low volume and all is ok.also checked that all the drivers had installed ok and no conflicts and all are working ok.any ideas would be appreciatedThanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Dan12 Posted February 28, 2006 Author Report Share Posted February 28, 2006 Hi pops,sorry yes this is integrated sound no sound card, only cards on mobo is the internal modem and a graphicscard or some sort of ram chip altera is printed on this card this information relates to this card........media-H rev:1.2SB6 This bit of information was on the card.
