Zuber Posted March 1, 2006 Report Share Posted March 1, 2006 i a trying to install a Cisce Aironet CB21AG wireless card when i insert it into the PCMCIA slot it always come up with a message saying "This device cannot find any free resorces to use (Code 12). If you want to use this device, you must disable another device that is using the resources this device needs. To do this, click Hardware Troubleshooter and follow the instructions in the wizard." However i cannot find any other devices which is in conflict with it also the troubleshooter doesn't work either. i have tried to look on alot of website but they don't provide me with the right infomation. You need to either assign a different IRQ manually, or disable some other device that will free up the IRQ required.To set the IRQ manually, you will need to go into Device Manager, and under properties, click the resources tab.To disable devices, this must either be done in the BIOS, or in Device Manager.
