deniance Posted March 3, 2006 Report Share Posted March 3, 2006 when in windows explorer viewing my mp3 files i have in a directory' music ' why cant i get the filenames/song titles to stay in list view when i swap between folders they seem to always go back to thumbnails of the filesALSO when in windows explorer i right click and sort by group i can get a letter above the files eg sorted under a b c but when i try to do this in my music folder it is not highlighted for selection i have windows xp pro any replies would be much appreciated Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

So, you are trying to arrange your MP3's in some way, but it keeps thumbnailing them? Did you change the view and is the option to remember view settings checked? If it isn't check it.
