Invisible§niper Posted March 4, 2006 Report Share Posted March 4, 2006 Hi again,I have a Apple Mac connected to a router and also my Windows box connected to the same router. I have set the mac up to use IP and my Windows Box to use IP with the same network address as the mac, and a different host name then the Windows Box. But the problem is that I can not see the MAC on my Windows Box, whenever I go to "My Network Places" I can not see the mac. I never tried ping it though, and that's one of the first network trouble-shooting tactics I ever learn't, I can't believe I forgot to do it.Thanks For Your Help Though.
