timmera Posted March 8, 2006 Report Share Posted March 8, 2006 Hello,How can I change the way my pc starts. Now I can choose between Fedora and XP, but I want to delete Fedora and go back to only XP. Alan2273 Posted March 8, 2006 Report Share Posted March 8, 2006 Try this.Start, right click 'My Computer' > Manage> select Disk management (left hand window)Delete Linux patition & reformat to NTFSInsert windows xp disk into drive and restart making sure that you can boot to Cdrom.Press R for repair on the Welcome to setup WindowSelect the Windows partition and enter Administrator password/or simply press enterType fixmbr and press enterConfirm that you want to write a new MBRRestart computer having removed the disk.This of course leaves you with your windows installaton partition and then a 2nd partition to use as you will.
