NWL Posted June 3, 2003 Report Share Posted June 3, 2003 Does anyone know if the beaches in the SW of France, around Biarritz are open to the public? Most of the coastline has been closed due to the oil from the sunken tanker Prestige. I've searched various sites and can't find a definitive answer. I'll be heading there early July so I would think by then all would be sorted what with tourist season etc but it would be nice to know.
