doug Posted June 3, 2003 Report Share Posted June 3, 2003 Got this occasional problem. Sometimes the page is displayed as what appears to be in inverse colour. Tha background is a dark blue. If I do a refresh then all changes back to normal. This also sometimes happens if I click on a thread but again a refresh sorts it. Honestly, this only occors in here. Win 98SE, IE 5.5. Suggestions? Guest moon Posted June 4, 2003 Report Share Posted June 4, 2003 Hi doug,It sounds like a problem I had with IE and 98SE. I cured it by 'repairing' IE in the add/remove programmes option. When my IE gets a bit flaky with use it sometimes tries to change my background settings to 'Windows', you know, the dark blue background ? Yes shirl that was exactly the picture I was getting and it sometimes occurred when I first opened up the forum page and hadn't even used the back button. even after I had been browsing elsewhere without problems. I agree that it also occurred when I used the back button. However, I've just followed moon's suggestion and done a repair. Will see how I get on over the next few days.
