Ragazzo
Hello everybody, I'm getting all the time this alert pop-up that reads the following: ----- DMI Indication (in the title bar) Event type "Single-Bit Memory Error" reported for "Physical Memory Array" group. ----- A new alert pops up every few seconds when I physically log in. If I access the system via Terminal Services, I don't see the alerts. The message refers to a memory problem, but I would like to know, according to your experience, if it is indeed a hardware problem or if it is something else (like a virus?). I appreciate any help you can give me on this. My OS is Windows 2000 Server. Thanx a lot!!
scuzzman
I would reccomend downloading and burning a copy of the Ultimate Boot CD. Boot from this, and run memtest86. This might give an indication of what your RAM problem is, and where it lies.
