Can u be more exact cause i don't really find anything that tells where to change to default unicode, probably it has to be done in registry editor, just i don't know how. Look i need to change Notepad that it saves in Unicode by DEFAULT and not in ANSI. Its no problem to change it when selecting File -> Save as..,i need to change its default ANSI into UNICODE. If the default is ANSI every program that i use that runs through notepad will only show and save english characters and the other chinese, korean, japanese, arabic characters will not be saved at all, which means almost nothing will be saved. Of course i can save all chinese, korean, japanese, arabic characters manual with save as and selecting diferent encoding..but any program that uses Notepad can't do it cause it ain't human to select save as. I do not think this feature is availble in notepad. Remember, notepad is a very simple program and will not have much customizability. I was thinking in registry editor or some modification. I'll try some forum thats specialized in registry editor or programming, maybe asians know.Thx for the posts and help.
