Jookia Posted April 6, 2006 Report Share Posted April 6, 2006 I have a peice of software that was made in 1998 and its ment for windows 3.x or 95 but I got it installed on my XP computer and my mum's laptop. It has an error that says Quicktime initalizaiton failed! Scarecrow Man Posted April 7, 2006 Report Share Posted April 7, 2006 If you have software that is older than XP, you may need to run it in compatibilty mode. Create a shortcut to the executable, and right click it. Choose 'compatibilty' and run in compatability mode for Windows 95.You can also try the other options if this does not help.
