Total Language conversion?

Hello,

I am an ex-pat living in Taipei and I was recently hired for a computer based job. The machine runs xp pro, however, everything is in Chinese. Everything. Is it possible to totally convert a windows installation (ie. start button, menu items, EVERYTHING) to english? I would prefer to do this rather than telling my new boss I have to re-install the machine.

Any help appreciated.

Pretty sure you need a new copy of Windows, fiddling with the language settings doesn't change the display language.

I would have said the same thing until two days ago, when trackrat wrote in this thread that Windows XP Pro comes with MUI. If this is true, then you can change the Windows interface to any language you want.

I did not find muisetup on my WinXP Pro CD-ROM, but then that is a DELL OEM CD. However I do find muisetup on various places on my Windows folder, so it is there.

Another useful MUI link rather difficult I suspect to execute if you don't read Chinese.

Sorry if my original posting was incorrect, but I'm an XP Home user and it doesn't seem to apply there. Still any day where you learn something new isn't a dead loss.
