The hide system files checkbox is just below the hidden files checkbox.Since it is a "My" folder, Windows may have system files in place to track it. For example, how it is displayed and the view settings.thumbs.db is a database of thumbnails of all files within the folder. Even if there are no files in the folder, the database is still used.
