There's an enhanced searchbox, safe browsing, and several smarter browsing features includingspelling corrections, search history and instant suggestions.http://www.google.com/tools/firefox/toolbarTried to install it - multiple times - but after restarting FF, the Google toolbar version is always 1.0.20051122.Anyone successfully installed Google Toolbar for Firefox v2 (on FF 1.5.0.2) ? -pops- Posted April 21, 2006 Report Share Posted April 21, 2006 When I downloaded the latest Firefox update, it told me that the Google bar would not work with this new version. Despite that, the Google bar worked just as it had done before.I don't like updating for its own sake and, as there are no security implications involved, I'll just keep things as they are for now. ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb Posted April 22, 2006 Author Report Share Posted April 22, 2006 Actually the Google toolbar v1 automatically installed a small compatibility update after FF 1.5.0.2.As for v2, the toolbar helpdesk sent me this link http://www.google.com/support/toolbar/bin/...py?answer=38338 - I was able to install v2 with this method.
