bossplaya Posted May 2, 2006 Report Share Posted May 2, 2006 hello ppli have a probl with my new laptop - it won`t wake up from hibernate when running on batteries! i`ve scheduled some tasks to run @ fixed hours, and then i`ve set up the lap to go hibernate when (let`s say) batteries reach 75% - but it does not resume windows only if the power adapter is pluged in !!!?!? why ? this is a dell inspiron 1300, and before this one i had asus turion 64 wich was resuming xp just fine @ every schedule without the need of power - just on it`s batteries. i`ve already tried to reinstall my os (the win xp home ed), changed the setting, doublechecked the settings, but still no luck!what can i do more ???if someone can help, please post/reply.thanks! Scarecrow Man Posted May 2, 2006 Report Share Posted May 2, 2006 Hibernate is often troublesome. Can you not use standby? It uses almost no power and can resume much quicker.
