deyosurf Posted May 9, 2006 Report Share Posted May 9, 2006 When my computers recent automatic update which is labeled (software distribution 2.0) takes effect it shrinks all the size of my text, and makes it so my webpages don't fill the screen. To quick fix this problem I tried system restoring it to an earlier date, and of course this helped, but it wants to update, and when it does it shrinks all the stuff again. I tried playing with the text size and format to no avail. I have finally turned off automatic updates to fix this problem, but from what I hear that's not so great.Is there anyway I can stop this from happening during this update? You should have SP2 installed - is this what you mean by software distribution 2?If it is then all problems with service pack 2 are caused by a faulty installation of the XP operating system that you are trying to install into.
