atekigrl27
I have an Inspiron 2650 laptop which processor I'd like to upgrade, but I don't know what type of socket or motherboard it has. I'm confused because I've never open a laptop or upgraded any hardware from a laptop before so I don't know how to change or even if I'm able to change a processor for that matter. Can someone tell me or guide me through this process please? Thanks. ;)
-pops-
Laptops are almost impossible to upgrade. The components are very tightly packed together and require jigs and special tools to make any adjustments.Almost everyone I heard of who tried to make upgrades to their laptop, apart from change the hard drive or add memory, has finished up with a box of junk which was very expensive to repair. nellie2
I've never taken a laptop apart.. this might be a good place to start.. the Dell links are about halfway down the page. I think I'll bookmark that page myself for when I decide to have a go at my Toshyhttp://www.laptoprepairguy.com/laptop/cate...service-manual/
