I currently have 2 sticks of 512 Mb DDR-SDRAM PC3200 (DDR-400) in 2 slots of my motherboard. There's one slot remaining and wondered if I should put another 512 Mb or 1GB? Can I mix and match or should I leave the slot empty and replace the 2*512Mb sticks with 2* 1GB sticks. I'd probably prefer to just stick in another 512 Mb stick but I'm sure I've read somewhere that all the slots full can actually slow the PC down?
