Edmod Posted July 15, 2006 Report Share Posted July 15, 2006 I'm trying to instal Sky By Broadband andhave received an error message (Error 1722) "Windows Installer Package program has run as part of the set up did not finish as expected"The event viewer had the following error message:Product: Sky by broadband -- Error 1722.There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Action e135_id_khost_minus_install, location: C:\Program Files\Sky\Sky by broadband\KHost.exe, command: -install Can anyone help me out? BUT, an information message now reads:"Sky By Broadband requires an active internet connection the very first time it's run. Please connect to the internet and try Sky by Broadband again"I've tried all the obvious things - reboot, uninstall, reinstall and connecting to Sky By Broadband before trying to connect, but the message bar keeps appearing - Am I being thick, what is missing???
