sapins
My computer is taking over 5 minutes to start up. I have looked through the start up items and checked them via Google, I cannot determine what these 3 are for.1. CmWatch.2. Adobe Gamma Loa.......3. Adobe Reader Spe.......I am running XP Home SP2 and I have Norton System Works 2004, Norton Firewall, Norton GoBack, Windows Defender, Spybot Search and Destroy, SpywareBlaster, Ad-aware SE Personal, SUPERAntiSpyware , the last 2 I have not ran for a while!Would the following start up items contribute to the slow start up? I do not need them so I can untick them.1. Event Planner Reminder.2. Event Reminder.3. Forget Me Not.4. Microsoft Office.5. Microsoft Works Catalogue. -pops-
Download Startup Inspector from here and it will tell you everything in your startup and if it is safe to remove it.Wouldn't be without it now and I install it on all the machines I build as a matter of course.
