-pops- Posted July 25, 2006 Report Share Posted July 25, 2006 Not a direct help to you but, in all the years I've been using the Internet, I don't think I've ever used that shortcut.Most web pages I want to consult are either found by Google, already in my favorites folder or easily located by typing an approximation of the URL into the address bar.For example, if I type "uk gov" then I am automatically directed to http://www.direct.gov.uk/Homepage/fs/en If you have the Google toolbar installed, then you can put part of a name in the address bar and Google will search for addresses with that combination of letters in it.
