gordythegouge
Hi,I wonder if anyone out there can help me? I've got a 700 plus CD collection which I have painstakingly typed into Excel, basically so that I could find what i was looking for from the CD storage area that I have. I would however like to extend this basic cataloging to include things like Album covers, track listing, date of production, etc,. So I was wondering if there is some sort of commercial software available to to do the job or am I going to have to do an in-depth course on Excel, not the preferred option as I don't really have that sort of time available! Any suggestions?Gordy
Alan2273
Try putting this question on this forum as VOG is an expert in Excel and he will be able to give you a more definitive answer.http://forum.computertrouble.co.uk/index.php

Rebel=UK=
I use Movie Collector, but you can get Music collector aswell, its not free but its a quality bit of software. It gets all the info from selected sites and even gets the covers.http://www.collectorz.com/music/

Rebel=UK=
They sell them on that website:Important:Barcode searches in Music Collector will only find results on Amazon US, Amazon Canada, Amazon Germany and Amazon Japan. CD editions from other countries will not be foundhttp://www.collectorz.com/music/flic_barcode_scanner.php
