cozofdeath
Do you have a graphics card or is it onboard? I ask because I have onboard (which sucks) and when I try to install games that don't support the onboard drivers I get an error like that. Scarecrow Man
A general protection fault is a fault indicating that a program has in some way violated the rules of the hardware on which it is running. Windows uses General Protection Faults to prevent irreversible damage to hardware.First thing I would do is upgrade my video drivers. These errors can also be caused by Memory Faults (RAM). It is most likely that your programs are using the InstallShield installer. They have an article on GPF's here This might help.
