AlanHo
Over the last month or so, some of my desk top icons have developed a habit of changing for no known reason. I bbot up the computer and notice that the odd icon or two has changed to something else and I have to right click, properties, change icon etc. It's either do that or a system restore.I have a small utility called Icon Restore which was recommended on the forum some time back - this is great for restoring the desktop layout - but it does not restore a changed icon graphic. The position of the icons is not changing - just the graphic itself - so Icon Restore is not of any help.An example is that I noticed 3 days ago that the icon for Windows Forum had changed to just a plain folder symbol. I intended to change it back to the Windows Forum graphic - but didn't get round to it. Today I noticed that it had corrected itself - 3 days later - of its own volition.Anyone have any idea what is going on here.
andsome
I read on the Crap Cleaner forum some time ago that this can be one of the side effects of Crap Cleaner. The recommendation was to download thisFAVORGIt works fine for me.
