-pops- Posted August 19, 2006 Report Share Posted August 19, 2006 Do you mean the screen saver which usually comes on after 10 minutes of being idle?If so, you can cancel it by RIGHT clicking a blank are of the desktop and click Properties in the box that comes up. In the following box click the Screensaver tab. In the dropdown menu alongside Settings and Preview there is the opportunity to select None is you want to turn the screensaver off. Also is the On resume, display the welcome screen box ticked? If so, untick it.
