eastbay80 Posted August 26, 2006 Report Share Posted August 26, 2006 okay, i attempted to search before i added this thread, but i don't even remember what this windows option is called. i am trying to turn this feature off...i'll describe it..lets say you goto google.com and do some searches. the computer remembers what you have typed in, so i the near future, you can type (for example) "a" and a list of words beginning with a popped up.how do you turn of this keyword or keystroke off?and how do you clear it out of memory?thanks in advance,eastbay80 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

jason.b.c Posted August 27, 2006 Report Share Posted August 27, 2006 You failed to mention what browser you are using...If it's firefox for instance , You'll need to type about:config in the url bar and disable:Type ahead findAnd everything related to it...I know how frustrating it can be ...
