Turning off keywords/keystrokes

okay, i attempted to search before i added this thread, but i don't even remember what this windows option is called. i am trying to turn this feature off...i'll describe it..

lets say you goto google.com and do some searches. the computer remembers what you have typed in, so i the near future, you can type (for example) "a" and a list of words beginning with a popped up.

how do you turn of this keyword or keystroke off?

and how do you clear it out of memory?
