Gagaman
Friend of mine made a new site for our school. It would be nice to have some feedback of WF....New site: http://www.detoverboom.be/Old site: http://users.fulladsl.be/spb9857/The site is in dutch, but what do you think of the coding and layout....? Thanks for looking into itGagaman
andsome
The new one is much better than the old one. Bright and cheerful, and the links open up very fast. When I did my National Service, 'Er indoors and me got married and rented a couple of rooms from a Dutch family. The village was called Waubach, in the province of Limburg, and was quite close to Heerlen and Maastricht . Is the school anywhere nearby? dadyassa
I think I like both sites, maybe cos I have never seen either before and the first one was due for a makeover. As ansome says the new one is very nice and tidy, easy to read and quick to use.It looks a very nice school, a lot better than my memory of the schools I went to :) Nice one. How I wish that we had been able to learn Dutch. The family however insisted on practising their English. We lived at Rimburgerweg 17. Not very far from the German border. The Grandmother of the family ran a small café in the main square. Those were very happy days, apart from the trials and tribulations of the forces. We were newly wed, and were so happy in our two rooms. the family were the kindest people you could ever wish to meet. We still keep in touch at Christmas. I recognised the places in your link. Thanks again, it is now in My Favourites so that I can show it to 'Er Indoors when she has finished watching a crap film on TV.P.S. We lived not far from the water tower shown in your link. When we left, the family bought us a plate in Blue Delft showing the water tower.
