doug
Just be a little patient mp factor, Probably people are scratching their heads over this one. Did you make a bootable floppy when installing your antvirus (AVG?).Also some details would be required. What is your operating system? i.e. Win 95/98/ME/XP? Size of hard drives etc. It would be more helpful if you would fill in you profile details. Go to My Controls, then scroll down the list on the left 'till you get to edit my profile. -pops-
Do you know why your computer will not boot from the XP CD?Do you have the BIOS set to have CD as first boot device?Even if not, a boot floppy will not be any use unless the BIOS is set to have floppy as a boot device and I somewhat doubt that it will be arranged like that unless the machine is very old. If you really want boot floppies for XP they are downloadable from http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...b;en-us;Q310994 Note there are six of them. You still need the BIOS to be suitably adjusted
