As these machines are not connected to the Internet then the importance of installing patches is that much less.My opinion is that, provided you are up to date with the Service Packs, Internet vulnerabilities can be more or less ignored so minor patching isn't so necessary.Yes, it is true that attacks on systems occur by means other than the Internet but, nowadays, these are extremely rare.Of course, if the machines were to be connected to the Internet then it is only a short job to get the updates from the Microsoft website. Is this autopatcher authorized by Microsoft ? anyone can d/l the patches even they use a non-authorized copy.
