rallyghost Posted October 12, 2006 Report Share Posted October 12, 2006 I would like to disable the windows firewall (I already have a firewall in place). I used to be able to just bring up firewall settings in the control panel and disable it. Now the option to turn off the firawall is greyed out and can't be selected. The windows says that "Some policies are controlled by group policy". I am the only user on the home computer and I was wondering how I might disable the firewall.
