Tankus Posted November 14, 2003 Author Report Share Posted November 14, 2003 Interesting summary of how things stand in the US's efforts to get other troops in to help clear up the mess in the Independents story of the "Iraq: the crumbling coalition"Scroll down to the bottom of the page on the link .....Its will also be interesting when George comes over here , to see if the expected size of the public demonstrations planned in London next week , will have any effect on his public approval rating , back home ......I'm not sure that this visit is a good idea ,politically, for either George or B'liar ...Bush: UK soldiers did not die in vain US President George Bush revealed he will meet with relatives of British soldiers killed in Iraq to tell them their loved ones died for a "noble cause". During his three-day state visit next week, the President will offer them the sympathy "of the American people and the prayers of the President". And he will tell them "that their loved ones did not die in vain".Hmm ....I think I remember one of the parents whose son had died in Iraq , stating that she could not get in touch with our government for an explanation ....
