andrea_44
Hi,My internal laptop keyboard is not functioning porperly, returning letters that are not the indicated on the keypad (i.e. press 'k' return '2', j = 3, 2 = / ... etc), after installing an external usb keyboard. The usb keyboard do not require any drivers, just plug and play. It works fine when it is pluged in.The internal laptop keyboard do not require any specific drivers either, it uses the default keyboard driver in windowXP Home.Does anyone know how to recover the keypad on my internal keyboard?Any help will be appreciated. Many Thanks,Andrea
-pops-
To get back to your original configuration, remove the USB keyboard and try a System Restore.I don't know how you can cure the problem with the new keyboard but, obviously, it shouldn't do that so a question or complaint to the supplier/manufacturer is the thing to do.
