eltonb
How do I get the backup program? I am running windows xp sp2. I'm hoping there is a download. I don't have the cd.
-pops-
Do you mean the Windows backup? If so, then I wouldn't bother if I were you. Windows backup is restricted in what it will back up to, slow, awkward to use and difficult to restore images from.Far better to use an independent backup program such as Acronis which a lot of forum members use and can recommend. ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
While I agree with -pops- that there are many better backup programs than Windows' own, it is still better than no backup at all.On the other hand, I am not sure if XP Home installs the Windows Backup by default. Try Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools; Backup should be there. If it is not, then you should get a professional backup program (since you have no Windows disk).
