cmptrgy412 Posted November 5, 2006 Report Share Posted November 5, 2006 After having so many problems, I installed windows xp x64 version. Everytime I open quicktime or windows media player to play a .mov or .avi (which are the only two I've tested), my computer starts to lag up. If I happened to be able to open up the task manager and end the process, which takes about 5 minutes to load when this is happening, everything goes back to normal. I have updated all my drivers, and still the same problem. The only avi files I have used were compressed using divx if that helps. Thanks for any help in advanced.
