iamme
Ok first off hi, I am new to the server side of windows and I have no formal training but I am not a noob just unfamiliar with this OS.I own a small PC repair shop and I want to offer ISP, Web Hosting, and StorageDoes anyone have or know a place with step by step how to setup web hosting and isp I have found a few sites but they are not very clear and offer no support if you have problems, so I figured I would come here. I look forward to your help and support!
10west
remember microsft has tons and tons of data for research, and consultants, if you are stumped, many for free, also try the MSDN network, "Microsoft Developer Network", as much info cross links from there to simpler solutions, and sometimes, vice versa. This should be an open solution by now, so don'tb pay anyone, unless you lack time, or are absolutely stumped. It is out there. Other software companies, like sun microsystems, and others also have huge research libraries, knowledge bases and forums, etc.good luck, search whitepapers and other docs too, at one time, the us patent and trademark website's consultant, laid out the complette system architecture, as they upgraded in around 2000, it is old now, but it was amazing to see it all displayed, and the basic engineering behind the site upgrade was public, for a while, and may still be, it was more tahn a web, and included intranet schematics as well, it was quite fascinating, for free, at that time in net histry. gluck
-pops-
This is a big undertaking you want to do and it's certainly not something I would contemplate without considerable experience gained from working in such an environment.Think carefully before you proceed. Think about your responsibilities if things go wrong.
