External SCSI HDD woes...

I've got an Adaptec AHA-2940UW connected to an external Compaq RAID array that has seven 18.2GB drives in it. The adapter and the BIOS can detect the drives perfectly, however when I get booted up into Windows XP, it shows all the drives under the "Hardware-->Device Manager-->Disk Drives" listing as it should....and it states they are all operating correctly, but when I go into "My Computer" it doesn't list any disk drives besides the 2 IDE and 1 SATA drive I have in my PC. My question is...What do I have to do to get these to be shown as viable usable drives as it is obvious that windows can see them and knows they are hard drives.

Thanks everyone!
